Chemicals, bumblebees and art accompany scientists as they uncover the hidden lives of plants.
In Zurich, a team of scientists is trying to use chemicals to make plants grow and bloom. Their research focuses on the communication between plants, which takes place in various “dialects” of their scents, as well as their relationship with insects, including bumblebees. Artists join the story, seeking inspiration in the garden and blurring boundaries between nature and art with their work. They gradually discover how much the world of plants has in common with us.
