Two neighbors, the same name, and two completely different worldviews. Former sheep farmer Derek Gow is transforming his land into an oasis of wilderness. His neighbor, traditional dairy farmer Derek Banbury, is appalled by the wild mess next door. As the two Dereks square off over the hedge about everything from wild boar invasions to slurry pits, this tragicomic documentary probes what is at stake for the future of us all. After a series of clashes, can they finally reach an understanding? After all, there is a bit of Derek in every one of us.
