The Sun as a protagonist, time as its canvas. What will emerge when all the pieces finally come together?
The film follows the global project Circumnavigation in Time, in which dozens of participants, guided by two astronomers from the Astronomical Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences, collaborate on a unique image created by the Sun itself. Using specially designed camera obscura devices, participants across 24 locations worldwide capture solargraphic photographs that form a hidden message when put together. The film offers an insight into this fascinating technique, while focusing on the science-art connections, shared excitement, and suspense behind the process.
