Ignas začal svou kariéru jako vydavatel a v mediální branži působí již více než 30 let. Na Prague Science Film Festu představí svůj film Svět pod zemí.

Má rozsáhlé zkušenosti s vývojem multimediálních konceptů a e-komerce. V Nizozemsku byl mnoho let zodpovědný za rozvoj obsahu stanic, jako jsou BBC a Discovery Channel, a později i jako vydavatel National Geographic a vědeckého časopisu Quest. S filmem "The New Wilderness", který byl jeho debutem, vytvořil Ignas řadu celosvětově úspěšných filmů o nizozemské přírodě, včetně "living Delta", "Wilde Amsterdam" a "Svět pod zemí".

Ignas began his career as a publisher and has now been active in the media business for more than 30 years. He has extensive experience in developing cross-media concepts and e-commerce. In the Netherlands, he was responsible for the home-entertainment exploitation of brands such as BBC and Discovery Channel for many years and later as publisher at National Geographic and the science magazine Quest. With The New Wilderness' as his debut, Ignas has produced a number of Worldwide successful theatrical films on Dutch nature, including The living Delta', Wilde Amsterdam' and ‘Planet Soil’.
