The result of four years of filming in northern Alaska brings spectacular footage capturing an area that has undergone significant changes. The beauty of one of the virtually last untouched areas on the planet is alternated with the challenges that its inhabitants have to face, some of which are directly related to human activities. For several decades, there have been debates on whether to allow oil extraction in the nature reserve. With the new President of the United States in office, this danger has been averted, but not forever. And climate change on the rise cannot be averted.
