Indian wildlife filmmaker Sugandhi Gadadhar returns to the Kaveri River, where her childhood fascination with animals first began. Accompanied by her trusted companion, fisherman Shivu, the filmmaker sets out on a deeply personal journey following in the footsteps of Maya, a female otter, her resilient family, and a solitary male struggling to fit in. A thoughtful film that shows how anyone can contribute to research and conservation, regardless of their scientific background.
