Kenya is the safest refuge for rhinos. This is thanks to the relentless work of paramilitary reserve guards, who strike fear into local poachers. But those are getting increasingly more desperate due to drought and hunger. *Rhino* is a gripping, high-budget documentary. It may resemble a war film, but at its heart is a thoughtful exploration of the need for community and the people who have devoted their lives to protecting nature. It is narrated by the appropriately gruff voice of Tom Hardy (Mad Max, Venom).
