Popular science documentaries, lectures, discussions and festival atmosphere. Come and experience Prague Science Film Fest again at the Czech University of Life Sciences campus in Prague! We’ll meet from 14 to 17 October 2024.
We will explore the genre of wildlife film and its transformations. Documentaries depicting fauna and flora have kept up with the times like few other genres! They aim to use the latest technology and are no longer just a display of bird dances and insect mimicry, but thought-provoking about the environment and its conservation.
The International Festival of Popular Science Films will take place from 16 to 19 October. It will offer its visitors the best science documentaries worldwide and the opportunity to meet guests from the field of science and film from the Czech Republic and abroad. There will be free entry for both the main screenings and the off-programme. The best films will receive a prize from the festival, we are also awarding the Grand Prize together with our partner festival AFO.
The Prague Science Film Fest is co-organized by the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague and Palacký University in Olomouc.
